The French surfskate scene gathered at Darwin
On October 5, the Darwin Hangar in Bordeaux hosted the first Jacquot Surfskate Festival, organized by the Les Jacquots du Surfskate association.
The event brought the community together around sharing, respect and surfskate.
A day dedicated to riding and community
For this first edition, Les Jacquots brought together several riders from the French and European surfskate scene:
Yojany Perez (Longisland), Stéphane André (YOW/Jonsen Island), Hansie Rietzer (Carver), Laure Brial (Crewsingparis), Thomas Sung Jin Caniot (CSR Paris), Léopold Pomier (Waterborne), Pauline Didier (Swirl Paris) and several others.
The riders delivered accessible demos and spoke with the public in a relaxed atmosphere.
Carver at the heart of the event
This year, Carver Skateboards was there with a large part of its team.
On the program:
- Testing around ten Carver boards in the demo area
- Advice sessions and introductions to develop or refine your style
- Demos by our riders
- A festive atmosphere reflecting the Carver spirit
The Jacquot Surfskate Festival is more than a gathering: it brings the French and European surfskate scene together through riding, conversation and a friendly atmosphere.
Strong energy for a promising third year
For us, this event is a place for exchange and inspiration beyond the partnership. We leave with smiles and memories, looking forward to returning next year.
Thank you to the Les Jacquots du Surfskate team, the riders who attended and everyone who came to share this day at the Darwin Hangar.
See you in 2025 for more surfskate in Bordeaux.
