Collection: Carver Classics

Carver models excluding collaborations use shapes and graphics developed in-house, from short, responsive formats to longer boards focused on carving.

Depending on the model, the setup uses C7, CX or C5 trucks. The truck system affects the ride more than the deck itself.

Carver classics: the models that built the brand

This selection brings together Carver's historic shapes, which remain in the catalogue season after season. It includes in-house board designs, with no collaboration or limited edition.

This is generally the right place to look for a first surfskate. The range covers every format, from compact and lively to long and stable, with C7 or CX setups depending on the model.

How to find your way around

Two criteria are enough to narrow down the choice. The first is the truck system: C7 for a surf feel, CX for versatility, C5 for a ride closer to skateboarding. Length also affects the ride: above 31 inches, stability and comfort increase; below 29 inches, the board becomes more lively.

If you are still unsure, start by understanding what a surfskate is, then move on to the guide to choosing yours.

A board that can evolve

A Carver classic is not fixed. Wheels can soften the ride, bushings can change the turning range, and the trucks can be switched from one system to another while keeping the same deck. Everything is available in spare parts and in wheels.

Carver classics FAQ

How do they differ from collaborations?

The ride depends on the trucks, length and wheelbase, not on the series. A collaboration adds its own graphics and sometimes a shape from a shaper or partner brand; a classic keeps the in-house shapes. With matching dimensions, both ride the same way.

Should you buy a complete board or just a deck?

A complete board if it is your first surfskate: it arrives assembled with matching trucks, bushings and wheels. A deck only if you already have Carver trucks and want to change the shape without starting from scratch.
