Ride, Meet & Chill - Carver x Jo&Joe Hossegor

A new surfskate spot in Hossegor, a great day of riding and a big crowd around the ramp.

For a year now, Carver Skateboards Europe and Jo&Joe Hossegor have shared the same drive: creating moments around skating, surfing and community.

In August, we had the pleasure of bringing together riders, locals, holidaymakers and anyone curious for an event designed as a true summer session: Ride, Meet & Chill.

A new ramp to discover

The event was the perfect opportunity to showcase the new surfskate ramp installed at Jo&Joe Hossegor, now open all year round.

Designed so that everyone can come to ride, progress and find the feeling of surfing on asphalt, the ramp quickly became a new meeting point for surfskate fans in Hossegor.

Carver was of course part of the day, with several boards available to test, so everyone could try different sensations and simply enjoy a good session.

Ride, meet & chill

The idea was simple: ride, meet and have a good time together.

From 4:30 pm to 8:30 pm, the ramp never stopped. Experienced riders, beginners, kids, adults, locals and passing visitors gathered around the spot to share a few runs and soak up the summer atmosphere at Jo&Joe.

No pressure, no competition: just a session open to all, with riding, conversations, music, drinks and that energy unique to summer days in Hossegor.

A growing community

What we particularly love about this kind of event is seeing how surfskating brings so many different people together.

Some came to try a board for the first time, others already knew Carver and simply wanted to ride with friends. One thing everyone had in common: the desire to share a session and enjoy the moment.

The day ended with friendly drinks and a few prizes to win — including a Carver board drawn among the participants.

A year-round spot in the heart of Hossegor

Beyond the event itself, this day marks a new step in our partnership with Jo&Joe Hossegor.

For a year now, we have enjoyed developing surfskate initiatives together and bringing this place to life as a meeting space for the community.

And above all, the ramp is here to stay.

Whether you are passing through Hossegor, a local or simply looking for a place to work on your turns and pumping, the Jo&Joe surfskate ramp is now open all year round.
