THE ADJUSTMENT

550 lb since 2022

Carver reduced spring tension from 800 to 550 lb: carving becomes smoother and pumping easier at the low end, while the firm adjustment remains available.

THE MATERIAL

Rocket Wire, blasted and oiled

The spring uses aerospace-grade wire. Its surface is shot-peened to remove micro-cracks, then lightly oiled against rust.

DURING INSTALLATION

Grease generously

Carver installs its springs with marine grease; good bicycle bearing grease also works. This lubrication keeps the C7 quiet and durable.

WHEN TO REPLACE
