THE ROLE
The rear truck baseplate
The C2 is the rear truck on all Carver setups with a CX at the front. Its base fixes the pivot point that balances the articulation of the front truck.
WHEN TO REPLACE
Stripped thread or cracked baseplate
A warped base or stripped thread misaligns the wheels and prevents the kingpin from tightening correctly. It is the first part to replace.
COMPATIBILITY
All C2.4 trucks
Its geometry matches the original part. It mounts with your existing hanger, kingpin and bushings, with no other changes.
THE SETUP
A skate tool is enough
No special tool or press is needed: the base can be replaced in a few minutes with a standard skate tool.
